Really enjoyed every minute of being there, recommend. Everything was perfect, the parking was on-site, the room was brand-new. There was attentive staff and the service was terrific. Hotel's location was unbeatable, in lush garden close to the river. What's more, it was just next door to the common areas and the rooms, a fabulous Buddhist temple and the greenery of Galle.

The location was amazing and beautiful for traveling around Galle, so close to the river, the neighborhood of the fort of Galle, and the forest/jungle. It was relatively near the Methodist Church.

Staying in a hotel surrounded by nature was wonderful. the wildlife was rich and we felt like we were living in the middle of a jungle. the beautiful location was only a short ride to the Fort and had a lovely quiet pool area. the rooms were clean and extremely comfortable, especially the luxury suite which was like living in luxury in the middle of the jungle.
The price of the hotel was a little expensive compared to other local hotels.

We had a truly luxurious experience at a beautiful jungle retreat. The deluxe room was clean and smelled great. The staff and owners were attentive and even provided a vegan breakfast for us. The outdoor bathroom was a unique and immersive experience, although we did have some birds visit and make a mess in the sink area. The pool was a tranquil oasis and the surrounding jungle created a peaceful atmosphere. We also appreciated the tuktuk service provided by the hotel, making it easy to explore the area. I highly recommend this hotel for a restful and rejuvenating stay.

The hotel had two free welcome drinks which was nice. the hotel was located in a lush jungle, perfect for nature enthusiasts.
The hotel was in the middle of nowhere, with no shops or restaurants nearby. We had to catch a tuk-tuk to go anywhere, which was inconvenient.

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at this hidden gem. The rooms were spacious and beautifully furnished, and the outdoor bathroom with a shower under a coconut palm was a unique experience. The pool was absolutely stunning and the perfect spot to relax. The owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even offering transportation to and from Galle. Despite a few minor inconveniences with noise from parties and some local tourists, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Ginganga Lodge. I highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and memorable stay.

The surroundings were absolutely stunning, surrounded by nature making it a great place for relaxation and tranquility. Another upside was the variety of dishes available on the menu, from local specialties to international flavors. , the fact that breakfast was included was a nice touch that we appreciated.
the location was quite remote and far from any major attractions. We also found that the staff were not very accommodating or helpful, often seeming uninterested or unapproachable.
